The Mystery of the Essenes — H. Spencer Lewis, F.R.C.

H Spencer Lewis, first Imperator of the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC, wrote this remarkable description of the Essenes in 1929 as part of his book, The Mystical Life of Jesus, some eighteen years before the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Lewis’s work was one of the foundational inspirations for the modern Essene movement.
